New Publication Alert: Measuring the Man
ALA director Jonathan White and co-editor Lucas Morel have collaborated on an exciting new work, Measuring the Man: The Writings of Frederick Douglass on Abraham Lincoln. Available beginning October 1, this book compiles Frederick Douglass’s most poignant reflections on Lincoln—including twelve newly discovered documents unseen for over 160 years. This book offers valuable insights into the profound and complex relationship between these two American giants.
