Register Now for the ALA’s February Banquet

Registration is now open for the Annual ALA Banquet celebrating the 217th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth. The banquet will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Our banquet speaker will be Professor Allen Guelzo, presenting “Walking in the Old Paths: Abraham Lincoln and the Inheritance of the Revolution.” Space is limited so we encourage you to register as soon as you are able.
Three Lincoln scholar-writers will headline the Benjamin P. Thomas Symposium on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. John Bicknell, Lucas Morel, and Michael Vorenberg will speak at the day-long program. Michael Burlingame and Allen Guelzo will combine their vast experience researching and writing about Lincoln in a two-person conversation, “Encouraging Trends in Recent Lincoln Scholarship,” during the Thomas F. Schwartz Symposium lunch. All speakers will reconvene for a roundtable at 2:15 p.m.
Attendance at the Symposium is free, but registration for the Symposium lunch ($45) and Banquet dinner ($100) is required. Guy Fraker to Be Honored
The Abraham Lincoln Long Nine Museum will honor ALA director Guy Fraker for his devoted service to the Museum and to Mr. Lincoln’s enduring legacy.
